Training and Retreat Center

State-of-the-art training and retreat center that provides in-person and virtual training access to mental and behavioral health students, professionals, and practitioners worldwide.

The center aims to provide lodging accommodation for traveling students and interns, mental health providers, and training participants.

We aim to establish training centers throughout Africa.

Sustainability Programs &

Economic Development

  • The Healing Institute aims to employ local people, including students, to increase economic development throughout Africa and the USA to promote mental wellness.

    The Healing Institute will establish local cafes that offer traditional and nontraditional culinary and African manufactured attire, art, and other products to support African merchants and crafters.

    THI is creating community-based groups, peer consultation, and skill-building sessions with THI partners leading training and consultations for colleges throughout Africa and Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

     

    THI is developing partnerships with organizations to financially support student scholarships for African and African American students in the mental and behavioral health fields.
